Royal Australasian College of Surgeons 2012

...Continue from the previous post...

If anybody asks me " Have you ever work a job that seems complicated but actually its not?".
I would answer " Hell yeah!".

From 5th May 2012 to 10th May 2012, there was an event held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Level 3 and 4. That event was called Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. It is actually an international event where the surgeons around the world come to Malaysia to give a specialized seminar lecture to the trainees and outsiders also? I considered myself as an outsider. Anyhow, since it is a International Event. I was a little scare about how complicated the job would be. I work as an operator by the way.

After the first day of work. I realized this job is indeed very suffering...Suffering from digesting all the foods and beverages I have consumed. The job itself isn't difficult but the digestion of foods are.

As an operator, my job is

-to make sure that the equipments in the room are well placed and can be functioned
- to make sure the chairman and speakers are well informed about the equipments in the room
- to make sure the presentation files are well organized.
-operate the presentation files of the speakers aka surgeons during their presentation.something like switching a particular file for a particular speaker when  one is up next or have finish their presentation.

Since there are hundreds of Surgeons. It is actually quite difficult despite some rooms have no chairs for the operators to sit. So yeah, that was practically my job. It was a great experience, because I get to meet some of the surgeons as well. I am honoured though I don't really understand what the heck are they talking about...Surgeon language! But I did learnt something from the lectures though :)

The job itself is very interesting but the foods are more interesting! What made me like this job throughout the whole event is obviously the foods! They actually serve 4 meals a day! The dishes are damn nice and unbelievable! They have everything, literally everything. Lamb, chicken, beef, salmon etc. Well, I am a food lover. Go figures! :P

The best part about a job is that you get to make new friends. I have made many new friends during the event. I am blessed to have met them all. We had so much fun chatting with each other, laughing and playing like we have known each other for many years and so.Its like we are one big family its describable. Also, I have made friends with some Australians too. Pure Australians! I love their accent. Its very cool and sexy.
The Australians are friendly, funny and nice, they had helped us when we face difficulties and so. I hope to see them again in the future! :)  .

Frankly speaking, compare to all the jobs I have worked throughout the years. I have to rate this job 10/10.
Its obvious right? Where can you find a job that provides nice meals and relaxing operation of the job? Until I find another job like this one, this will be the best job I have worked... XP
Also, I would like to thank Alvin Tai for offering this job to me! I really appreciate it.. Thanks man!
Oh, I also have received souvenirs from the Aussie people as well. A Kangaroo toy and a pen! Thanks guys! :)

I have no regret working this job.. the only regret I have is that this is only a temporary job. Haha!

Thank you all for the wonderful experience. I enjoyed working with you people. And a little shout out for the chefs who prepared the foods! THANK YOU FOR THE FOOOODSSS! Did I mention the foods provided is like a buffet? :D

Oh god I miss the foods and the refrigerator...

Cheers!

PS: I have gained weight after I have worked this job... Opps! :P
