Open Day

I sort of volunteered myself as a helper for the UTAR open day. I was surprised that they paid us for helping out. Usually, they would provide soft skill points instead of giving out wages. Anyways, I don't really mind about how much the wages though, cause i am more interested in making new friends.

The open day was only 2 days, but I have to admit during this 2 days. I had a blast working with the people of UTAR especially the staffs. They are very friendly, kind and polite. We had our freedom of walking around, able to play phone while on job. I even downloaded many games too. Hahaha. But as long we did our job, Its fine! :)

I was assigned as a headcount ticker; mainly in charge of how many people came, and counter; in charge of the registration of the visitors. Its really a simple task. Basically, all the tasks are considered simple because we are familiar with the UTAR environment. I am glad that I am able to help the people with the information.

Well, I am not pleased with the food provided, though I am thankful that lunch was provided but the food was not so satisfying. They could have asked for better food. But even the person in charge was disappointed and surprised. Hmm, It was said that there was trouble in locating the food catering service. 

All in all, I had a great experience. Knowing things that I didn't know while I am already a Year 2; near to Year 3 student. What a noob. hahaha.
